He is the best in his field! His procedures are next to none. Great minimally invasive procedures for back and hip pain.

They don't answer their phones. You just get routed to a voicemail no matter which extension you choose and then no one ever calls back.

Front desk girl, Sidney was extremely rude. I waited almost three weeks for my initial appointment, I had some insurance questions that she obviously didn't have an answer to. Her tone and mannerism was uncalled for. I walked away without seeing Dr.Stephen, I have several health issues and I knew it would take several visits to his office, I couldn't imagine having to deal with Sidneys demeanor in every visit.

Update: The Dr. reached out over the week-end and the office called me first thing on Monday to address my concerns. I am very appreciative of the way they addressed everything. These concerns were the only reason for the review below. Since they have been addressed in such a timely manner, I would like to change my review. Thank you, not many offices would take the time to do that. This review is not about the doctors actual performance of the surgery. More about the communication. I had back surgery with Dr. Stevens. When I woke up he was not around to update me on how it went. The next day they were only open till noon, so I called early in the morning and was transferred to a voicemail, and left a message. I called again 30 minutes before they were going to close and left another message. No one called me back. No one even called to check on me and how I was feeling that day. I've had surgeries before and the doctor is always there to tell me how it went and I'm always called the next day to make sure everything is going OK and if I need anything. This lack of communication does not settle good with me. The surgery was described as very invasive and simple. However right before the surgery the nurses Informed me that this is a major surgery procedure. Which made me fell anxious about the procedure. Prior to surgery, I was scheduled for a follow up appointment 13 days after the procedure. But at Surgey I was told that in a week I would have a follow up to have the bandage removed and was not to shower until then. So why was I scheduled for almost 2-weeks after surgery. I told them I could not go 2-weeks without showering! I have a job. When I called the appointment desk the day after surgery to reschedule for 7 days later. They said they were full. I also needed a return to work note so that I could work on Monday, which is a desk job. But since they never returned my call on Friday, I have to take more time off work which I cannot afford. No very organized at all!
