Evident Painting

Totally undependable and unreliable! I hesitate to leave a bad review, however, thought it would be best to forewarn those considering using Cody with Evident Painting. I have owned and operated a construction company in Utah since 1996, including superintendent positions with large commercial construction companies. I have dealt with hundreds of subcontractors, including painters. CODY IS ONE OF THE WORST. I hired Cody to paint the interior of a garage. His price was fair and the quality of work was marginal. The real problem with this painter is he never shows up when he says he will. With no word from this guy, he will show up hours, if not days, late, and forget about calling him, he won't answer! You can never count on his word when he schedules a day and time to be on the job. Given, it is very frustrating to work with Cody, the unreliable painter, when time is taken to meet him on the job and he doesn't show up time and time again. On a second project, Cody bid painting a garage floor with an epoxy coating for me. I was hesitant to give him the job knowing his complete lack of understanding scheduling and showing up for the job. On June 21, 2021, by text (since he doesn't answer his phone), I scheduled him to do the job on August 2, 2021. His response was "Yes Sir". On July 30th, I sent him a reminder. In his response he had no clue he was scheduled for August 2nd.... go figure! I again texted him to confirm the August 2nd date... no response from him so I tried calling him, and of course, no answer and no response. I will never use Evident Painting in the future and I will be spreading the word about his poor work ethics. Service: Interior painting

Cody was awesome to work with! He and Israel did an AMAZING job on our walls. We had a bad experience with another paint company and Cody came in after them and took great care of us. We will for sure be using his services again.

Jessie’s team did a great job. He cleaned up very well. He had the job done before he said he would. The paint he used was very silky and high-quality.
