    After searching for a good Japanese restaurant that was more than just Sushi, I am more than happy with Mobo's Express. I've told everyone and there dog about it. If you're looking for authentic Japanese food such as Katsudon, tonkatsu, tenpura udon, Shouyu Ra-men, bento boxes, or a ton of other deliciousness, come to Mobo's! at $6-9 per meal you won't break the bank either.

    I spent six weeks in Japan on study abroad last summer, and ever since I've been missing the restaurants! Luckily, this place just opened up, and it's good! Their curry is great (especially for the price) with a flavor and presentation much like the CoCo's Curry House chain in Japan. Their katsu pork/chicken is everything you could desire, whether in curry, as a katsu don (fried egg added to the fried meat) rice bowl, or just by itself as a side. The tempura veggies (well, mostly squash-type things, I've never seen something as American as a tempura-fried broccoli in Japan) and gyoza are some of the best I've had, and include the right sort of dipping sauce to make them even more delicious. The miso soup is a good, basic shiro (white) miso, very much the type you'd find served with every meal in Japanese eateries. They also have yummy bento lunchboxes--unfortunately, not sitting ready-made for you to buy, but that does mean they are made fresh while you wait! Overall, an excellent place to get a taste of non-sushi Japanese food. I just wish they had more fish-based options, but then that's not surprising, since we're hardly close to the ocean. YOU SHOULD EAT HERE, because I don't want it to go bankrupt like so many Provo restaurants seem to be doing lately.
