Andrew and the Timberline Construction team did an amazing job with our "unplanned" remodel. We had some water damage due to an appliance and called Andrew to help us repair everything. He and his team were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, provided great customer service and the attention to detail was top notch. He was in constant communication with us throughout our project and went "above and beyond" in many areas to make sure we were happy with the end results. We used Timberline Construction for remodeling bathrooms, backyard deck, stairs and roof. Andrew and his team are not only professional at what they do but also reliable and dependable. He offered us a very reasonable quote, the end result, exceeded our expectations. We did a significant remodel of our home - essentially gutting the entire interior and finishing an unfinished basement. We had heard horror stories about contractors ( non responsiveness, blowing through budgets, not keeping to timelines etc) so we approached this project with a fair bit of trepidation. We used Timberline Construction - Andrew Menlove - and we couldn’t have been happier. Here is why: (1) Quality of the work - I don’t know where Andrew gets his sub contractors from but they are absolutely the cream of the crop. The quality of EVERYTHING they did, from electrical to tiling to plumbing to audio/visual was just outstanding. Andrew and his team delivered a product that blew our expectations away - the end product was stunning. (2) Budget - we heard that sticking to budgets is not the strong point of contractors but Andrew is clearly the exception. He gave us an initial estimate and stuck very close to it, always explaining if anything would cause a deviation from it. The end cost of the project was very much in line with his quote. To add to that, he always suggested budget friendly options to help us keep on track. (3) Sticking to the timelines - this was really impressive as we were expecting dates to slip significantly. He worked extremely hard to keep the project on track and deliver to the dates he had committed to. We were so so grateful for that! (4) Attitude - Andrew is one of the nicest, friendliest and most helpful individuals you will ever have the pleasure of interacting with. This seriously made a huge difference. Renovations / remodels are stressful and having someone like Andrew made a world of difference. He was always cheerful and had a positive can-do attitude throughout the project. (5) Innovative - no hurdle phased Andrew. He was able to come up with solutions to every problem thrown his way. As an example, as the remodel was under way, we decided we wanted to get an entrance built to the basement - he worked that in and built a fantastic entrance. He had to break down load bearing walls to open up the space, had to do some strengthening below the basement for the foundation to hold additional weight - all complex problems that a lesser contractor may have said could not be done but all of which Andrew managed to do. He made it look seamless but we saw the effort he put in! (6) Responsiveness - throughout the project, Andrew was extremely responsive - when we had questions or concerns, he responded to them within minutes! Given how much he had going on, this was truly commendable. Here’s the absolute kicker - it’s been two years since he finished our remodel and he’s still just as responsive and helpful. We bug him all the time with questions - and even though the project is history - he will always respond quickly and has been tremendously helpful! Just to summarize, Andrew brings everything you could possibly hope for in a contractor - quality, innovative, responsive, great attitude, budget friendly and completing the work on schedule. We have lived in our home for two years now after the project concluded and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the end product. We worked with him on an extensive remodel of our home and we could not be happier with the results. From start to finish, Andrew was endlessly patient with our hundreds of questions. He was fluent with every aspect of the construction process, and had insights and wise recommendations on everything from plumbing to paint, and voltage to ventilation. Andrew made us feel like our project was his priority, and found a solution for everything. In short, he made all of our remodeling dreams come true. From redoing our entire heating and cooling system, to choosing grout color, to arranging tile, Andrew was never too busy to give his dedicated attention and help us make decisions at every step of the process. Andrew’s team includes a long list of dedicated artisans - and the craftsmanship they added to our home is elegant. Every single one of the sub-contractors that worked with Andrew were professional, skilled, friendly, honest, and so talented.
