Mike spent about 15 minutes at our house to do his "appraisal". Bottom line is this: I have 2 neighbors with similar homes, in fact one of them is the EXACT floor plan I have. At about the same time they received appraisals and were well in excess of mine. Neither had fully landscaped yards like mine and both sit on smaller lots. The appraisal messed up the loan enough that we had to cancel......while my neighbors continued.
That was the quickest $400 Mike has made and we feel it was all slapped together in less than a half hour of time. I'll be sure that on any future loans I will demand that MJ Consulting is not to step foot in my house.
