Alta Ridge Assisted Living of Sandy

There are some amazing staff and some awful. The maintenance guy (Mitch) needs to go. My mom asked him if he had a tool so I could hang something for her and he just immediately barks "I'm not doing it!". The hallway/room my mom was in smelt like urine or barf, couldn't tell. We took her to another care facility and I was AMAZED at the difference in the staff and environment. The maintenance guy at the other place actually asked us if we needed help. Big difference. We were so happy to get my mom out of here. This place needs a make over and change in some of the staff.

I worked here for 1 DAY and I will never go back. They lied about my job title to just get me hired on. The way the current CNA's treat residents is disgusting. I have been a CNA for 5 years- between nursing homes, assisted living, and hospitals. I have never seen anything so unprofessional and inappropriate in my entire career. I would never send family here and I wouldn't want anyone to work for them. Everyone gossips as if they are in high school. I will never go Back.

I have had a great experience in this building staff is great with the residents and they are all appear to be very happy! The nurse and administration are great and Harlynn is great to talk to when you need any sort of information.
