New management is much better. Good food, great staff. Took a little long but seemed to be an unusually busy night.

UPDATED July 2014: My original review was when this restaurant was under ownership of a guy from New Jersey... who was extremely friendly and dedicated to creating great dining experiences. But I agree with another reviewer... they need the old owner back. Unfortunately, he had to move back to New Jersey to take care of his ailing mother. Now, this place has really gone downhill, unfortunately. I still really enjoy the chicken piccata; however, every time I order it I request linguini instead of angel hair ... and every single time I have to send it back because they make it with angel hair. Additionally, the wait staff are not attentive and, in fact, one time my waiter left for the evening without saying anything to us or the other wait staff -- ended up sitting wondering what happened to our waiter. No other wait staff or even manager (who all passed our table several times) stopped to ask or even wonder what happened. Very disappointed. Delicious Italian in the heart of Clarendon with great patio seating for warmer nights. Love the pasta dishes, chicken picatta was excellent. The owner and chef truly cares about the restaurant and the satisfaction of the guests. Don't be surprised if he stops by your table.

Several months ago, Toscana Grill was amazing...Joe was the best manager, bartender, friend you could hope for and he always made sure the food was perfect. I use to go at least once every couple weeks. Within a few days of his departure, the entire place went to hell, the service is awful, the manager (and maybe owner?) is unpleasant the quality of the food has plummeted and I will not ever plan on returning.

They need their old manager back. I've gone twice in the past few months and received cold, hard bread, mediocre food, and lazy service. I LOVED it when Joe was running the place, but now it's disappointing.
