I cannot say enough good things about DogWatch of Tidewater. If you are undecided about installing an invisible fence for your dog, do it! The owner, Dan, makes it a wonderful experience. He is informative, knowledgeable, patient, and professional, and his product is excellent. I was leery about getting a fence for my Black Lab but it has been so effective and a complete lifesaver. Dan trained our dog the day the fence was installed, and he learned quickly! We are going on two years with the fence and our pup has had a low shock maybe twice (both gentle, as you can adjust the settings to your preference). He has freedom and runs but also knows his parameters. This was literally a lifesaver for us, as our dog loves the front yard, and this was a better option than a wooden fence. Recently the neighbors had trees cut down and our invisible fence cable was accidentally cut. I called Dan and he was out FIRST thing the next morning to ensure that we did not have issues with our dog catching on to the fence being inactive. The gentleman was very professional. He arrived on time, listened intently and answered all my questions and was cheaper than the other big names. Install he again showed up on time, walked the property with me, answered my questions and promptly went to work. I came home to a phenomenal install that if it werent for the flags, I would have never known he was there. Hats off to you sir! Cheaper isnt always better but it was this time, no doubt about it! Dan installed an invisible dog fence for me a couple of years ago. He was very responsive and on time. He trained my three dogs and showed me how to adjust the settings on the collars and the receiver in the garage. He was very nice and personable. He took the time to explain everything to me. I had my yard aerated the following year, and the aerating company damaged the dog fence after I did not mark it properly. Dan came right out and repaired it a day or two after I contacted him. This year I asked him on a Friday afternoon if he would mark the fence for me before having my yard aerated on Wednesday, and he was there Monday afternoon to mark it.
