Americana Restaurant

Great place for some breakfast. A bit unassuming at first but the food and service were fantastic.

3.5 stars. The food is good. The service can be pushy (because they want to turn tables over fast?), which is uncool. As tasty as it is, they serve 'pure maple syrup' that is anything but. Also not cool. The space is fine but feels a bit worn and in need of a refresh. There appears to be no website for Americana anymore but they are open and serving. There should be enforced laws requiring truth in advertising, especially when advertised real maple syrup is replaced with organ-crushing corn syrup slop.

First time eating at this place.. something different for me. I will definitely eat here again if I'm around the area.. French toast wasn't my favorite they too crunchy and dry. The blueberry pancakes were very good a little over price. Didn't expect to pay over $100 for just two people.

This restaurant has an delicious and amazing menu. We usually go for brunch and order Omelet w/ Chorizo, Omelet w/ smoked Salmon, half order of the French toast. If you havent had their French toast before, it is comparable to Geraldines, which I cant decide between the two has the best French toast ever.. Their service is very fast and the people who work there are friendly, kind, and very professional. The location is in Capitol Hill, which is a melting pot of city people.

This review is specifically for LUCY Lucy is kind attentive, super sweet and my son LOVED HER!!! Hes picky. Lucy swapped out the vodka on my Bloody Mary for this Mezcal, and the French toast SLAPS
