I lived here 1 year. It is a nice place, very convenient access to PCC, big rooms for the price, good noise isolation from other units, nice staff, no mail theft. Leaving this review to counter the NPC pfizer bot giving them a bad review for not being vaccinated!

The good: 1. Prime location. Access to so many restaurants and fremont area. I guess thats the only selling point of these apartments. PCC is just downstairs but beware that some people complained about PCC AC heat during summers. 2. Big kitchen 3. Big bathroom The bad: 1. Corridors are very narrow. 2. Too much noise when you open windows/balcony door. 3. Lease prices change like stock market daily. One of my friend started applying online and within 24 hours, 100$ increased. Insane! So, if you plan to stay here for long term, something to consider. 4. Closet size is small for 1 bedroom Edit: More proof how prices are deceiving on craiglist. I have been looking at prices from past couple of days. They increased prices a lot on their website but someone keeps updating craiglist listing with lower price just to come at top.

We had multiple issues upon moving into this apartment building. We were not provided keys to the stairwell, which immediately became a problem during the first power outage - as you cannot get onto your apartment building floor without one of these keys. We thankfully were able to find a maintenance person during the power outage to let us back into our apartment (which, by the way, there are lots of power outages). Additionally, despite paying for two cars to park within the parking garage, one of our cars began to be ticketed by the parking serviceto which the management responded that we only had one car listed under our apartment. After checking through our records, we, of course were billed regularly for both cars in addition to our rent, and had the second car listed on our lease. This seemed like extremely poor record keeping on the side of the management team. The apartment building is listed as pet friendly, which should probably be listed with a huge asterisk.as upon move out, they will use your pets against you to update their units while charging you for it. Ohand the parking lot floods with sewage as an added bonus.

June 2021 Some Cons: There are homeless that are frequently in front of PCC and this building that are loud at night and harass people passing by. People that work in nearby buildings smoke across the 35th street during the day, so apartments facing that side may occasionally smell like smoke if their windows are open. Some Pros: The windows are acceptable in reducing noise while closed. Current management is is fine, and maintenance requests are fine. I haven't had a package stolen from here in roughly 2 years I've been here. Gigabit internet from WaveG is available in the building.

UPDATE July 2021, regarding pandemic: Sadly, I am reducing my rating from 5 to 3 stars because 2 people in the front office are not vaxxed. One of these people may have a medical reason, the other is apparently just resistant. While disappointing from a community perspective, the risk they take is their own business. I strenuously object that residents and visitors are exposed to the air they breathe, especially as the virus becomes ever more infectious & dangerous. I asked to have the air between the main lobby and their offices be blocked off; instead they opened the doors. They do put on masks when someone comes in, but thats equivalent to shutting the barn door when the horses are already out. Their lack of vaccinations also means the maintenance guys (who are vaxxed) are at much greater risk of infection, which would bring the virus into any of our apartments. These are otherwise nice people & good managers. I am shocked by their lack of concern for the risks they are forcing on everyone else. Previous review: Weve lived at EPI for 3.5 years now, and are very pleased. We are an older couple who have lived in our own home for decades, but my husband needed more accessibility so we moved here. Its worked out perfectly! I liked the previous managers a lot, but the current management is even better. All the staff is friendly, prompt, responsive. The building manager T has been proactive about solving some of the problems listed in previous comments. There is now a package locker in the lobby; malicious fire alarms and break-ins were greatly reduced by locking the PCC garage after hours. She also has added some roof amenities, including a dog run area.D, the maintenance guy, has everything shipshape, he's great at fixing things, and the garbage area has never been cleaner. H, the leasing agent, is a friendly and business-like presence in the front lobby. Further, he has made small thoughtful improvements toward cleaning up the lobby area. I hope this team stays as long as we do! We never hear our neighbors. I have rarely smelled cigarette smoke, and know that the building manager has tried hard to deal with tenants on this topic. Also, regarding the pandemic people in this building seem to uniformly wear masks and behave appropriately.
