David and Levi just fitted me for the Hannibal (TV Series) inspired made-to-measure suit and I'm so excited I thought I'd write a review to share with the world the best tailor in Seattle (believe me.. I looked hard and these guys know what they are doing). This suit would not be possible if it wasn't for SGB and the amazing style of Levi who turned me on to the suits worn by Mads Mikkelsen in the Hannibal TV series. I landed on a Gladson Snowflake flannel which has a great soft feel and structure and a bold Flash! lining. Also got a made-to-measure shirt from SGB that works perfectly with the suit. Their new location in Pioneer Square is filled with sewing stations and seamstresses working on suits and every time I go there it's super inspiring.

Was looking for a tailor experienced in making suits for trans people and Sew Generously did well :> I'm pre-T and got measured in a binder and the shape is good. I def think I could pass just wearing the vest. Also the pants look so good with my shirt tucked in which is really really nice. Time wise, they finished the suit very comfortably before when I needed it and were always ready beforehand. Also it was pretty much the opposite of stress scheduling things. So yeah, good people, good service, five stars.

Working with David and Levi was an absolute joy! From picking my fabrics to the final alterations, the entire process was excellent very professional and fantastic final products. I got a made-to-measure suit with them for my wedding, and the result was terrific. If you're new to made-to-measure custom suits (like I was), you'll want to order your suit at least 10 weeks before your event due to custom manufacturing and alterations after arrival. This transaction was my first made-to-measure suit purchase, and they were super transparent and patient with me. I never felt that David and Levi were taking advantage of me. They took the time to educate me, so I made the right decisions for my needs and budget (however, they did have some fun showing me the higher-end fabrics, which were... hoo boy... pretty awesome). Most importantly, they helped me find the materials that fit my event and personal style. Once the suit was delivered, alterations were done in a timely manner, and the result was stupendous.
