IF we returned to this restaurant, it would be only because of one outstanding server- Trixie. Trixie was warm, welcoming and attentive while the other server was downright rude. We had two discourteous and unprofessional encounters with her:
Server asked, "Coffee?" Yes, decaf, please. "I don't have that." She walked away and never returned with decaf coffee.
Server appeared with some of our food and dropped it (yes, dropped) on the table. She then said, "she has the rest." The server made no attempt to assure us our food was on its way or who "she" was.
Finally, we would not return because it took so long to get our food. At least 2 tables that arrived after us were served before us. We waited 20-30 minutes for nothing more complicated that pancakes and eggs. Two of us ordered sandwiches (Moons over My Hammy and Superbird). The sandwiches were sadly lacking in over half the amount of meat they should have been made with.

Place is closed now, so it doesn't really matter but, the restaurant felt extremely unwelcoming. Very dark, almost no staff aside from one very nice lady, smelled like standing water and was very dirty. Homeless people were hanging around outside when we went in around 12:30 am. Just felt very seedy all around. It's a shame too, because I used to come for breakfast every Saturday with my grandparents years back. It was still a nice place then. Really took a nosedive in recent years. Lakewood is becoming a real dump, sadly.

Cold food! Waited over an hour for food, only 3 customers dining. Still didn’t get order right after asking twice, finally gave up. Staff was nice but seemed like they didn’t really know how to prioritize.

After waiting 45 minutes to be served we found out that we had to wait for all the Uber-eats phone orders before they would cook our meal. The food was fine but not exceptional. Last time eating here!
