My family and I have been renting with KO, going on 8 months. Terri is amazing, kind, friendly, knowledgeable and I like that she does not put things off, issues or questions she is prompt to get back to you. On the other hand, I see all of these 5stars because of Terri the Mgr. when really I want to rate the company. as of next month (March 2022), not only did our rent go up $6 for no reason, we needed renters Ins., what for, incase our furniture starts a fire! So I learned what this company is all about this last weekend. Come to find out they are getting rid of Terri! The call center called her Carrie. Then come to find out, also, the call center called me to let me know that another renter cut our lock because he thought it was his unit until he opened the door and realized his unit was 2 more doors down....really!!! The company did not return my phone call about where the key was and to top it off they did not tell Terri until Monday afternoon. It was so stressful. The other concern was the angle of the cameras you could not see what unit they were opening nor the fact of if he opened the door or not (he did). Why did the company not call Terri and have her call us to take care of the emergency. I do not feel my stuff is safe there if anyone can come in and start cutting locks because the weekend there is no in the office to Manage the property on the weekends. I would NOT recommend this place. I am sure there are better storage units where the company really cares about their tenants. Super disappointed in KO storage. OH and Terri was not aware that they are planning to cut her hours/push her out. Could you imagine how she felt when we asked her about it. I felt bad for her to find out from a tenant that she is going to get fired! But through all of that she had a good attitude and helped us with getting our keys and sorting it all out. You get what you pay for with KO storage, not with Terri.
