I requested a copy of my neck X-Ray for a Veterans Administration Appointment. On 26 February 2024, I was given the CD at the Athens Office mailed it off immediately to Nashville, where it was needed. I just found out today, 3/6/2024, the day before my VA Appt, that Nashville received the neck X-Ray for someone else. You can do better.

Took 4 days to receive incorrect X-ray results when initially told it would be a few hours and received a card stating within 24 hours. The waiting was bad enough but the radiologist reading or just missing the fracture on the X-ray is just ridiculous. I went to SportsMED urgent care in Huntsville and within 30 minutes was told my wrist was fractured and taken care of.

I have been using this facility for years. never had a problem till today. Scheduled for a Mri. At 11 am, I left at 11:40. No one spoke to me the whole time. When I arrived a woman and her mother? Arrived and said I got our order and they rushed her back. I believe that is why my appt. Was delayed. At least. 10 people came and went, not the lady with the order. It was approaching lunch time, so I guess I was the only one left. I got up and told them I had another appt. They said ok and I left. My time is as valuable as yours .

All staff members were amazing at my ultrasound and mammogram appointment. But the one that really stood out to me was Laura, (Im so sorry if I got her name wrong) the one who performed my ultrasound. She was so sweet and gentle and really made me feel comfortable the entire time I was there. My results were abnormal and concerning and she asked me multiple times throughout the 3 1/2 hours I was there if I was ok. After I got not the best news, she asked if she could give me a hug and I could have burst into tears at that moment. As I was leaving she told me she would pray for a good outcome. No matter what my results say in the coming week, I hope all healthcare workers I come into contact with are as kind and compassionate as she was to me. Thank you so much for being the best part of the appointment I never thought I would have to have.
