I was nervous and had so many questions regarding the home buying process, but with her kind personality, knowledge and understanding of the home buying process made things so much better. Paula Boyd-Robinson and CMG were the lenders for the buyers on a transaction for a property we were trying to close in which my company represented the seller. Previous to this specific transaction, we had had negative experiences with CMG on previous transactions and were already wary with how smoothly (or not) the lending process was going to go to get us to the closing table on time. Because our expectations were already low, we did have a small hope that CMG would be able to surprise us with a closing that was on time and without any last-minute delays. Well, we were not disappointed. Not only did they not get the closing package to the closing attorney's office on time, but this time they were asking for documentation on the same afternoon of the closing that should already have been considered. Thanks to the intervention of the buyer's agent, the sale was salvaged and was closed right at the last possible moment. However, had it been left to the incompetence of the lender, we would have lost the sale for both sides. I will NEVER recommend CMG to one of my buyers nor will I EVER encourage my sellers to once again accept a buyer's offer whose lender is CMG.
