Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park Visitor Center

This visitor center is located in what were the warehouses of the well-known White Pass & Yukon Route company. It provides a lot of information about the entire history of the search for gold and its circumstances, as well as information about other places in the Park. It has services and water. drinkable.

We visited Skagway during the off season not realising that most of the shops and museums would be closed. Thankfully the staff in the visitor center were happy to open the museum for my partner and I, which we really appreciated. The museum itself was really informative and had enough interactivity to keep us engaged throughout. Would definitely recommend as a must visit to learn about the history of the region.

It's free and allows you to intuitively see and feel the situation during the gold rush. It's small in size and doesn't have much to see, but it's a good place to take a quick look around. If you have children, it is a great course to try out as a junior ranger at the visitor center right next to the museum after seeing the museum.
