Seriously, this is a neat unique place that has super well-done rooms, a host that is over the top and Johnny on the spot at all times. The location is perfect. Just down the road from the town. Surrounded by four small cabins surrounded by central fire pit that all the guests enjoy after dinner. The host, Travis is an exceptional at all travel accommodations and knowledge of the area is exceptional. We truly cant wait to come back and we highly suggest you stay there too. . Rooms: Rooms are super well appointed with full kitchenette, microwave, stove, top, burner, coffee pot, etc. Everything from the baseboards, to the carpets, to the bathroom are newly painted and well-maintained. Super comfortable mattress. Walkability: Downtown Central Talkeetna is only a few blocks away from the Villias. Its on a quiet enough road to have your privacy, but close enough to everything else.

Travis incredible hospitality and his striking, cozy, hand-built cedar cabins made our stay in Talkeetna exceptional. From picking us and our bags up at the train station, letting us run a load of laundry, giving us countless local recommendations for restaurants and activities, starting a fire for us to roast smores, and advising us on an impromptu midnight northern lights viewing - Travis was the perfect host. Hospitality wasnt the only thing that shined, though, the cabins were cozily curated with Netflix and board games, guides and books, a stocked kitchenette, and, most importantly during the winter, excellent heating and hot water pressure. Clearly, there was attention in every detail from the slate bathroom accents to the Alaska wildlife decor and hand-done cedar-paneled cabins. I cant believe we lucked out landing a night with Travis - hes usually booked, and for good reason. We wish we couldve stayed longer and cant wait to return soon! Nearby activities: Season-dependent: lake/water activities, or snow and winter activities Walkability: A short 3-5 min walk from everything there is to do in Talkeetna

Wonderful place to stay in Talkeetna. All of the cabins have a lot of room, are well equipped, and kept very clean. The owners are friendly and there is a fire pit to hang out at at night. The grounds are also just a short walk to the town of Talkeetna, where there is great dining.
