Deborah Markotay at Green Valley H&R was great and jumped right in and got my taxes done and saved me some more money too.I will be seeing her next year for sure. Thank you so much Deborah for all your help.

03/15/24 dropped my taxes off on Monday received a call on Friday indicating they were ready to be picked up and received an email for the exit survey on how my taxes were prepared and such. Arrived to the location. Waited patiently. The person who's handling my taxes came out. I have no idea what their name was. She's called my name but said she didn't remember doing my taxes. We get back to her office and I mentioned the arthritis in my legs because of the rain and the area and she said oh yes I have arthritis in my wrist from where I punched my baby daddy's brother in the face. She's in began to question me about clearly had not reviewed my taxes at all. I thought they were ready and they were not ready at all and anyway shape or form and I had to return. Why someone could not have emailed me or told me on the phone? I left very upset but I did go back and get my paperwork because I have no confidence in these people and asked for the manager to call me back. Someone claiming to be the manager. I think they said their name was Gus called offered no sympathy towards the situation that I had experienced, which was much more than what I've described above and and he offered no apology. No words to try to ensure that she was competent and then he ended the call. Very unprofessional employee and if this is the type that they hire at h&r block now I will willingly pay more to have my taxes done by a professional elsewhere.
