I would not recommend this tax response center they dont do anything to help but take your money and keep asking you to fill out forms. Its bad enough that I had to pay them to get started and then every month I have to pay for my agent which is ridiculous. Now that Im left the program because of a rude encounter with a person and was not being helped or updated of my status I didnt want nothing else to do with this program that said they will help but keep tossing my case to different people I rather not. I was enrolled in this for a couple months and was not being closer to finish with my case. Plus the people wont stop calling me after I have terminated my contract with them. It seems like this company doesnt do anything until you call them out for not helping you and then they want to go and make you look like the bad guy when all I was asking for assistance in my taxes.

This company helped me save lots of money but at the end of what should have been a great closing with the company the management/supervisor of the company was rude and has no communication skills. He repeatedly called me ignorant. What kind of customer service is that!!!! What kind of leadership is that. I would not recommend this company to anyone because of that supervisor. Responding to comments below. Mr Tony G didn't call me to congratulate me but to insult me. I called him a few times to find out what I needed to do with the letter I got. I was upset for the fact that he wasn't returning my calls. He sent me a text that I didn't understand. Finally getting a hold of him turned into a disaster. The reason it took so look to return the documents was correspondence was very poor. Mr Tony G needs to learn customer service .

For over a year I made an agreement with Tax Response to handle both Fedetal and State Taxes, and of course with their monthly charge of $79.00 , after 8 months or so Heather P.. informed me that I had to pay $350:00 to close the Federal case , I paid so that later she can tell me that it was better to NOT change the status I was In with the IRS ( uncollected status ) , something that was arranged before I got with Tax Response, after explaining to her that the purpose I called Tax Response was to get help to negotiate and clear this debt. NOTHING was accomplished. She said she had close the case.( mind you without my approval )after paying TAX RESPONSE the monthly fee plus the $350:00. That is my first outcome from this Buisness ,, still waiting for the her to informe me on the State,, and while waiting info from her on the State 2 months go by w/o any word , so I call herSHE NO LONGER IS WORKING THERE!! now TONY GAGLIADO is handing my case , after sending him all requested info to continue with State , it takes another 2 months to hear from Tony , /- Only bc I called him -while waiting for response from TRC I receive a notice from STATE stating their intention to place a lien on my property , since nothing was done to prevent this action from TRC// TONY GAGLIADO// a lien was placed on OCTOBER 2023, on my property ,even thou I have been paying monthly for service and sent TONY GAGLIADO notice from the STATE months ahead stating about the intent to place a LIEN on my property. ,Tony Gagliado called for info on a bank statement of 2 hrs ago- asking if why this why that-before I could look for that statement to verify info with him , he became hostile , unprofessional and rushing his last words to me on the phone I HAVE OTHER CUSTOMERS TO CALL and hung up !!! -OMG!! I was treated very unprofessional and without consideration of my search for proper response to his question- And to find out that he is a MGR at this facility ,I felt I had no choice but to cancel and seek professional assistance elsewhere with my case// IF THIS PERSON TREATED ME WITH THIS KIND OF HOSTILITY AND RUSHED ME OFF what will he professionally do with my STATE case? I understand when a person has caseloads of settlement to handle -BUT TONY GAGLIADO( being a mgr there) showed ZERO concern to a paying customer for over a year, ( ME)- I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TAX RESPONSE CTR especially with his Mgr. Who do you call on if you have this as a problem as I did ? Since he is the mgr there? BBB?

Tax Response Center (TRC) differs from traditional tax relief companies. Clients become members with TRC by paying a small monthly membership. When a new member signs on, we follow a 3-step process to determine the best way to resolve their tax debt. Step 1: We review all information the IRS/State has on the client. Step 2: We evaluate the clients’ financials. Step 3: We determine the best resolution program, which is based on IRS/State rules and regulations, for the client. Basically, we do the work first so we can guarantee our results, and only charge a small monthly membership, versus traditional companies who charge $2,000 to $5,000 up front on a promise of something that “might” happen.Ms. J****** (Client) became a member with TRC 4.3.23 for a MA State case. TRC followed our 3-step process correctly. Step 1: Client was missing several required tax returns (2018.2020.2021.2022). Client was not aware the 2018 tax return was missing. All required tax returns must be filed to qualify for a resolution program per State Rules and Regulations. 2018.2021.2022 were required to be filed. Client hired TRC to prepare the missing tax returns. As soon as TRC received the tax organizers, the returns were prepared in less than one week. It took the client almost 2 months to return the signed signature pages for these returns. Once TRC received the signature pages, the 2021 and 2022 tax returns were efiled immediately with MA State and 2018 had to be mailed in. This tax return was mailed in on 6.20.23. You can only efile the most recent 3 years of returns. Mailed in tax returns may take several months to process. TRC explained this to the client. Client emailed TRC requesting an update only 20 days after the 2018 tax return was mailed in. TRC explained, once again, that mailed in returns may take several months to process. In addition, TRC had to explain again that all required tax returns must be filed to qualify for a resolution program. On 7.28.23, client requested her case to be cancelled. TRC honored her request and cancelled her case. TRC followed exact tax protocol while working to resolve client’s tax issues with MA State. TRC is not in control of how long it takes a taxing agency to process a mailed in tax return. Client was not even aware she was missing the 2018 tax return and now she is in filing compliance. Client may proceed with a qualified resolution program. TRC updated client with any new updates when received. TRC understands dealing with tax issues can be difficult and financially stressful. TRC also understands that not everyone is a tax expert and may need the process explained multiple times. With Ms. J******, TRC followed their 3-step process perfectly and followed MA State Rules and Regulations. Fortunately for the client, she is in a much better position now, after hiring TRC.

Basically, we do the work first so we can guarantee our results, and only charge a small monthly membership, versus traditional companies who charge $2,000 to $5,000 up front on a promise of something that “might” happen.Ms. H***(Client) became a member with TRC 9.21.22 for an IRS case. TRC followed our 3-step process correctly. Step 1: TRC verified client owed over $5,300 to the IRS, all required tax returns filed up to date, and client was in queue for ACS (IRS Collections). Step 2: It took the client over 2 months to send back the Financial Statement (FS). TRC evaluated client’s financials. Step 3: TRC determined client qualified for the Offer in Compromise (OIC) program. The OIC program reduces a tax debt to a lower amount in a payoff settlement. This is the best program available for taxpayers. It took the client over 5 months to return the OIC documentation. Once TRC received the OIC documentation, TRC submitted it to the IRS. OIC’s may take 4-6 months for review. 5 months later, the OIC was accepted for $10.TRC saved the client over $5,200. TRC supervisor contacted client to congratulate her and to explain a few finalizing steps of the OIC. Client immediately cutoff supervisor and demanded that her membership be closed. TRC supervisor tried again to explain how to pay the $10 and about another IRS letter she would receive once the IRS processes the $10, but client refused to listen and once again demanded her membership be closed. Client was rude and extremely unprofessional to TRC supervisor. Much to the TRC supervisor’s surprise, TRC was left with no choice but to end the berating by ending the call and close the membership. TRC has zero tolerance for unprofessional behavior from any client to TRC staff.TRC takes pride in making sure the IRS fully processes all aspects of an accepted OIC. In order to do this, clients must have an active membership which keeps TRC’s tax authorizations on file. With Ms. H***, TRC followed their 3-step process perfectly and followed IRS Rules and Regulations. Again, TRC was able to reduce her $5,300 tax debt down to $10.

Basically, we do the work first so we can guarantee our results, and only charge a small monthly membership, versus traditional companies who charge $2,000 to $5,000 up front on a promise of something that “might” happen.Ms. C********(Client) became a member with TRC 10.6.22 for an IRS and AZ State case. TRC followed our 3-step process correctly. Step 1: TRC verified client owed over $17,000 to the IRS, all required tax returns filed up to date, and client was in Currently Non-Collectible (CNC) status. TRC verified client did not have any balances with AZ and all required tax returns were filed. TRC spoke with client and she said she made a mistake and has an issue with CA State, not AZ. The AZ notice she received was not for her, but for her daughter. TRC verified client owed over $7,000 to CA and she had defaulted on a prior Installment Agreement (IA) with CA. This is turn put her CA case in the collections division with CA. Step 2: TRC evaluated client’s financials. Step 3: TRC determined client was already in the best resolution program with the IRS, CNC. TRC was able to drop the client’s membership down to a single taxing agency membership.TRC determined client qualified for the hardship program for her CA case. This program is similar to CNC. However, TRC had to move quickly to prevent any sort of collection action CA may take against client. The 3 step process was completed in less than 3 months, even with the added time due to the client’s mistake regarding AZ vs CA. It took the client over 5 months to return the signed CA Hardship paperwork with the required supporting documents. As soon as TRC received the documents, the Hardship program was submitted to CA. Client was advised that CA may take 4-8 months to approve the program, sometimes longer. TRC tried to give client updates during the proceeding months only to leave voicemails or her voicemail was full. On 11.20.23, TRC received correspondence from CA. CA reviewed client’s bank statements which showed high ending balances through 2022 and 2023. CA requested clarification as to what those funds were used for and why client didn’t pay any money back to CA. TRC spoke with client and client denied ever having those ending bank balances. TRC emailed client the bank statements with her name on the bank account. Client still denied ever having the money. TRC tried to explain to client that CA will go off the bank statements and not take a taxpayer’s word on it. Client stated she would review her statements to email TRC. In less than 48 hours, client called and text repeatedly, not allowing our standard 48-hour response time to return her call. Client’s messages were completely unprofessional, berating TRC staff. All along not answering or clarifying the high ending balances. Before TRC staff can contact client, she had already requested to be cancelled immediately. TRC tried to communicate with her, but her voicemail was full, again. TRC has zero tolerance for unprofessional behavior from any client to TRC staff. TRC closed client’s case per her request. TRC followed exact tax protocol while working to resolve client’s tax issues with CA State. TRC follows a strict 3-step process so there is always a staff member to manage a client’s case. That’s the beauty of the program. With Ms. C********, TRC followed their 3-step process perfectly and followed CA State Rules and Regulations. Unfortunately for the client, she was not able to clarify why she had such high ending bank balances.
