Watch out not to be tricked by this people. I happened to find my new home 5 days to the end of the month. I was so stressed between working, packaging and moving , i tried to find a moving company that i could trust to make this transition smoother for me . Trek movers company was the second company i called ; and picked based on their sweet talk and promises, which also had an opening on easter Sunday I was told for one bedroom with maximum 3 hours the job could be done, the person I talked to also emphasized that there would be no surprises at the end, and they were known for that. They called me on Saturday for confirmation and told me the movers will call me 30min before arrival to give me heads up. Well surprisingly they got there 30 min before their scheduled time , and no heads up , 5 papers to read and sign; which one stating i needed to sign for 6 hours move minimum. Really, 6hours !!!!! What is wrong with people after covid, manipulation will not get you on top , in competition with other companies. I had no problem with paying more but hated to get manipulated and surprised when i had agreed on a deal already . why did i have to sign for 6 hours !!!!, when i was told for 3. We had every thing boxed and ready to go. It honestly did not feel right to move on with liars My whole body got cold and my stress got to the roof. He offered me to cancel if i was not ok to move on with condition. imagine !!!!, it is march 31st ;and i would not even have electricity if i would stay here on Apr 1st. . We called the owner to resolve the discrepancy but arguments did not get us anywhere and i got even more aggravated . Well i could not trust them at this point so i took his offer and cancelled. As if they planned to charge me more from the beginning. Well if you dont want to get surprised, upset, stressed and aggravated stay away from people like Trek movers. After I cancelled everything, we noticed them waiting on the street for one hour and half. They thought i would be desperate enough probably to change my mind and go on with their shady deal. I went with Trek Movers to move from my apartment into my new house last month and the movers did not disappoint. Thank you to Andrew, Alex and Artem. All 3 movers were great, careful with my belongings and very professional. 5 out of 5 stars! Triple A service! I will be using this company again if I need a moving service in the future.
