The worst Alamo agency we have dealt with. We had an electronic problem in Aspen, the SUV wouldn't start. We called the agency the evening before who told us they no longer had a vehicle to give us and to call assistance. We did a simulation to re-rent a vehicle; there were of course some available. The next day after I don't know how many calls to assistance from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. waiting in the cold without success (but that's another problem). The mechanic picked up the phone and explained clearly that we now needed a vehicle and that he could not repair the electronic problem. The same gentleman from this agency gave us a normal-sized vehicle. I told him we had rented and paid for an SUV. He told me that Alamo would give us a "discount" at the end. He told me that I had checked a no baggage box. I tell him how we could not have any luggage since we come from France. In short, we could see that just like the day before, this gentleman did not want to make any effort and I decided not to continue the conversation. It was at the Alamo Montrose agency in Colorado that our problem was resolved by Yury who immediately found a solution even if the problem did not come from his agency and we were able to continue our road trip with an SUV which we needed and not a discount!

I had a very good experience with this Alamo location. Employee Emma is an outstanding personality who was also very efficient. No pressure to take "upgrades," the correct vehicle was there and ready to go, in good condition, and there were no surprises. I would definitely rent from this location again.
