I was going to this practice for 34 years when the father owned it. After the son took over it went down hill. I had a crown done by Kevin in February 2023 and instead of him taking care of the placement he had his assistant do which the crown fell out and I almost swallowed it. Went back in she placed it back and by the next day it was lose again! I was angry and called, told the office I want Kevin to put it in this time because I was paying for him to do it! When I went into the office to have him place it in he belittled me in front of the assistant saying she did a good job. If she had done a good job it would not have fallen out twice!! I left the practice in March 2023. Bill paid in full, no balance. I paid my part of the bill before I walked out of the office and my excellent insurance paid the rest. 1 year and 1 month later, April 2024 I receive a bill from his office for $187.00. NO EXPLANATION FOR WHAT I AM RECEIVING THIS BILL FOR. I HAVE A COPY OF THE BILL FROM 2023 showing it was all paid in full! I found a wonderful new dentist who really cares and actually he does the work on his patients! On March 16, 2024 the crown that fell out twice that Kevin put in fell out again while I was flossing. That makes 3 times the same crown has fallen out that Kevin placed in my mouth in 1 year. The new dentist placed it back in and it has never felt better! I will be contacting the BBB and the dental association about what has gone on with me and Kevin Smiths practice. Kevin puts his fathers practice to shame. When the staff that his father had for many years leaves after Kevin takes over has something to say about the way he treats his patients and staff!
