    The company has found a nice niche for themselves, but I would suggest DIYers to stay away. I came to color cord because of their color selection, but when I made the wrong color selection (their Linen is more yellow than white) they refused to help me in anyway. Instead they gave me 10% off my next order. I spent $100 for a cord the electrician said he would pick up for me for $10. I haven't had a poor experience like this in a very long time.

    A S&L light fixture went out after being installed less than 2 years ago. No recourse with S&Lexcept purchasing a new fixture which was over $1k. Found ColorCord via google search and was connected to Rachel on email. She was super engaged and very responsive to all my questions. ColorCord shipped the items promptly and we just installed today! Perfect fit with the S&L shades. Great company, great product, great customer service!

    I'm stunned. I placed my order around noon on Thursday, paid an extra $5 for FedEx Home, and the package showed up just now, 11 AM on Friday. Now, I do live outside Albuquerque, which is a mere 450 miles from Denver, but less than 24 hours door to door and installed? Amazing. We search the internet, we find what we want from companies we've never heard of and we take a chance. This one played out perfectly!

    Taking my bathrooms down to the studs for a remodel, I discovered the sconce junction boxes were placed near the ceiling and not on either side of where the permanent mirror would be hung. Finding lights, at a reasonable cost that hung down from this height, became almost impossible. Having used Color Cord products before, I decided to build four lights and cure the "situation". I bought all the parts only to find I didn't have the absolutely correct pieces. Thus began the phone calls to Rachel and Zach to tweak my plan. Once I had all the parts and installation began, the phone calls (or therapy sessions) still continued just to get the first one built. This type of work/DYI/skills are not new to me, but the uniqueness of the situation and its subsequent "moving parts" was. Rachel and Zach truly helped walk my project through a process that got me what I wanted without compromise; they listened, collaborated on ideas and explained why an idea/process would or would not work. Their willingness to stick with me through the entire undertaking was the key to my success. The bathroom is not finished, but I have lights, and that was my goal. Thank you Rachel and Zach for the support.

    I bought a customized plug in pendant light from the color cord company. It was very well packaged But my only complaint it that there was no instructions for putting the light together. Yes majority of the pieces are obvious but I had a few washers I wasnt sure where they went. Luckily their chat on the website responds very quickly and after sending my order number and explained my issue she was able to send me a picture explaining how the piece was put together. Overall it was a great experience and the light is great but I would really like to have the picture of instructions included in the package so I didn't have to reach out through their website chat room.
