    The room was gorgeous. We had an awesome time playing games in the lobby area, waiting for the rain to pass. The hotel is also a nice easy walk to the beach.

    Fenwick Shores Tapestry was beautiful! The room was very large given the very affordable price. Ive stayed in smaller, higher priced rooms that cant touch this. The best part of the trip was Debbie at the front desk. We were running late with our arrival. We called the hotel and luckily Debbie picked up. There was some confusion on our reservation and she gave us the reassurance we needed. When we arrived around 10pm we were finally able to meet Debbie. In a word, she is AMAZING!!! Throughout our stay, whenever she was there, she made it a point to ask us how we were and if we needed anything. She even checked on us AFTER we got home. HiltonYou are so very lucky to have a woman of such caliber on your team.

    We pulled into the hotel approximately 6:50 pm. tired from a long day of driving. Ambria was behind the desk when I requested two rooms. She said she had two rooms for $129 each. Perfect. She then added there was breakfast package I could add for $20. Since I was treating my sisters, I thought that would be a nice gesture. To be honest, I don't travel much and being tired, I didn't think to ask any questions, because now that I think of it, she didn't offer Hilton Honors discount (which I am), or any others. Later that evening, the charges showed up on my credit card. The total for each room was $228.52. so I went back to the desk and asked for the cost breakdown. Ambria said she wasn't able to print it until I checked out the next morning. I thought that was strange but didn't argue. The next morning we went to breakfast and upon paying, I mentioned I had the breakfast pass. Jen said I should have something stamped to show her, which I did not. I went to the desk and spoke with Debbie to find out that I couldn't possibly have paid for breakfast if walking into the hotel. It was only available if I purchased the rooms online. Debbie printed out the invoice and it showed I paid $164 per room with no breakfast package. Debbie was truly a gem and explained everything to me. She could not find the code listed on my receipt. The only other comment I have is the staff shortage. I believe it was Chef Jen who waited on us, cooked and served the food, cleared the tables, and collected the money. From a health perspective, those activities should not be done by the same person. It was a lot of work for one person but the food was very good and she was very pleasant.

It does look like Ambria booked you under the breakfast package, which can be booked onsite directly. There are some breakfast package rates at other discounts that can only be booked online, but you were booked at the property level breakfast package. I will be sure to go over this with Mrs. Debbie. Were you charged for breakfast as a result? If so, I want to make sure that you are reimbursed for the package or breakfast. Did you let them know you are a Hilton Honors member? I do not have your account information on file. For future, there is a Hilton Honors breakfast included rate that you can reserve online or on property.
