        They're definitely closed and going by the owner responses to the reviews it's totes understandable. Went once and it wasn't great. Tried to go and it's abandoned. Springs 2min away is good.

        Of the three Springfield-area breweries, Hyperion is definitely seems to be brewing the best beer, which is like... 90% of what you're there for. We had the Peanut Butter Porter and Strawberry Mustache Sour. Drink them together and it's like a PB&J. But in seriousness, both were delicious, flavor-packed examples of their respective styles. My wife enjoyed the puzzle table as well. If we didn't have elsewhere to be she'd have probably stayed all day.

        I recently heard this place was closing. I'm not surprised at all. I went there once and didn't feel welcome. Your business will never do as well as it should when you lack welcoming the diversity that Jacksonville has.

      Thanks David for your review on your experience from who knows when. Based on our other reviews and hundreds of comments and calls about how bummed people are about the closure you are in the minority on this thought and had an extremely isolated experience. Hope you have a better experience elsewhere in Jax and can spend your time enjoying those places instead of writing up negative reviews on Google in your spare time. We wish you well.
