Toscana Little Italy

The people are very nice. The prices are steep. Wouldn't mind the price if they had not halved their dinner servings. I got Fettuccine with Marana and Shrimp. Got about half the pasta. Asked them to DOUBLE the shrimp on my dinner. I got SIX shrimp. You no longer get a salad with the meal. Love their food, so this is sad to report. I hope things improve. Would hate to lose them, but I do believe in getting a reasonable amount of food for a reasonable price. The 3 star OVERALL evaluation is due to the portion reduction.

I'm not sure which dish was better or worse. They were all cooked perfectly. I don't have a picture, but the brucheta was fresh. The garlic rolls were moist. The pizza had the perfect crunch softness ratio. The lasagna had the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce to meat. The chicken was great on the Alfredo. They even had local beers...

Ive eaten here several times. Each time I eat there, the food is always so enjoyable. The service is top notch.

It had been some time since our last visit; Toscana Little Italy had been an OK place with decent prices but nothing out of the ordinary. When we decided we would go there before the theatre it was more a convenience than a dining choice. I am DELIGHTED to say we were completely off the mark. The restaurant has undergone a transformation to a lighter more upbeat feel and the menu, well the menu was the real surprise. One of the specials for the evening was a braised beef ravioli with mushrooms. Both my wife and I ordered it and we both were completely blown away by the taste. The beef was rich and fragrant and the mushrooms added in just he right amount. It was served in a beef broth reduction with a dollop of Ricotta; had we been home we might well have licked the dish (instead we used the lovely garlic rolls to mop it up). That was not the only star since the small Ceasar salads we had to start were both very good (all components in just the right proportions) and the Lemoncello cake for dessert, oh my! We split a piece and both were slightly sad we had not gotten our own. If you have never been, then put it on your radar to go, and if you have not been in a while, by all means go back. Parking: Ample spaces to park in close proximity to the restaurant Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from the parking lot and the restaurant is all on one level so wheelchairs or walkers would have no problem

Dirk and the CHEF made our first time really memorable for our family to help celebrate my daughters 16th birthday tonight! Not only was her food OUT OF THIS world with REAL Italian dishes but the service was excellent! Definitely coming back!!
