Starbucks

preface ( the staff were good albeit a tad slow and im really nitpicking. if any of them are reading this, know that you are not the problem at all. they all seemed passionate about coffee and knew what they were doing. great job and no issue there!) im a home barista and take coffee seriously. i collect coffee gear from chemex and hario, to moka pots and french presses. its something dear to my heart. as such, i hate regular starbucks. they deface most of what coffee is about. treat coffee farms unethically, dont pay employees well, and dont even make good coffee. But, im here to talk about starbucks RESERVE. not normal chains. there is one reason i came here. its to try out the oleato drinks. that is it. theyve been making big buzz in the coffee community and i wanted to try it. so why do i give it one star? because they dont have ANY OF THE RESERVE ITEMS EXCEPT BASIC POUR OVER AND CLOVER. so i just got a basic drip and left. its almost criminal to advertise this as a reserve location. waste of my time. the poor employees didnt seem happy about it either. they said they havent got any of the reserve items yet and wont for who knows how long. starbucks is a bad company (like most). they cant even make good coffee, pay their employees or KICKSTART THEIR OWN LOCATIONS. literally bad at everything. please support your local cafes instead. your wallet and taste buds will thank you!
