Reply to "The Owner" - I can post videos that specifically validate and prove the abuse, not just the first episode but the second that happened the very night of the day the abuse was reported. The same abusing med tech was allowed back in the residents room to be abusive yet again. Management allowing such after a report is made is abusive within itself. I can post texts/emails that further show all of my post to be true and accurate. I have no clue what you looked into to make the incorrect statement that there were no findings of abuse. My post here is free speech, and I post this to make others aware so to protect their loved ones.... I have no other agenda. This initial post was 1.5 years ago - The Piedmont at Buckhead is now and has been under new management since this incident. Cheers. Giving 1 star just so I can review. Since new managers came in last year, the place as a whole became less than desirable. Better have cameras installed if in assisted living. If abuse is reported you will be evicted, even with proof. Abuse was reported to AL director whom promised the staff member would not go back into the room. That very evening said person was back in the room - another incident occured. AL director did not respond to my text voicemail emails for 4 days. And only responded bc I on the 4th day, after i reported to the State, I advised a charge nurse that if said person went in the room police would be called. Additionally Food is awful. Lack of staff. Building is in need of a update to include new management. This report comes from a tenant that started in independent living 3 years and transitioned to assisted living (to live out her remaining life) when the caring previous directors were in place. Don't be fooled by promises. The reason stated for eviction was needs exceeded what they could provide. After evaluation from 4 facilities the level of care was 2nd to lowest. Fyi you can be asked to leave for no reason. The reason was reported abuse. This place is not the place to go yourself nor the place to entrust with your family member.... too many other good facilities in the same price point with 100% better quality of care, food, and overall surroundings. Make a better choice for yourself or your loved one(s). The good staff left when my person left due to all of the above.
