Dr Blum is awesome. My son's surgery went perfectly and her bedside manner is great during follow-up appointments.

Dr Blum and her front office and nurses did a great job. Dr Blum made things very easy for us by offering to follow-up via telemedicine since we come from over an hour away. The care is excellent and thorough. We recommend this office!!

After reading all the positive reviews I was disappointed in my visit. I initially scheduled the appt for 3:40 and was later notified that there was an earlier opening at 3:10, which I accepted. I arrived early and completed paperwork in advance and my son wasn't seen until a little after 3:40. When Dr. Blum did arrive it was apparent that she either doesn't have great bedside manner or was possibly having a rough day. Everyone has rough days so I brushed it off, shared my concerns, and undressed my son. She didn't say one word to my son during the entire visit including the examination. Not a wave, "Hi!", "Good job buddy," nothing at all, he's 18 mths by the way. After the examination, she briefly answered my questions and suggested I talk with my primary care provider if I had any additional questions. I tried continue explaining one concern regarding discoloration in a certain area that didn't previously look like that, but since his daycare put Desitin on him I guess it was too hard to see or it was easier to brush pass it. I could've grabbed a wipe to make it easier to see, but at this point I was uncomfortable and could feel myself getting upset. Now don't get me wrong, she answered the questions and I no longer think anything is wrong with my son, but it wasn't a good experience. Bedside manner when working in pediatrics just seems like it should be a must. I get being behind schedule or in a rush, but I waited 30 minutes for a 7 min visit where she barely spoke and seem annoyed, dismissive, and in a rush. I also understand that she may have felt like this was something a primary care provider should have handled in the first place, but that's not my problem. I was referred, so it is what it is. This was my first and hopefully last appt with Dr. Blum.
