    Called this location to add a block of rooms for a wedding. The rep picked up the phone unprofessional, I was a bit shocked by the customer service. First of all, Good Customer Service is the key to running an amazing business. So I was told they will pass the information on and it will take 48 hours for someone to get back to me. Oh wow!! 48 hours, so I waited, no call back after 48 hours. So I called again the rep that picked up didnt even say hello this is Rigbys Best Western, she said hold, came back to the phone at this point I was done, she finally asked how can I help you I told her I was waiting for a call back to block some rooms, she said I can transfer you to the persons voicemail, I left a message and I never never received a call back. I have to say there needs to be training on customer service on all levels.

    I only gave this hotel a four star is because the entrance/lobby is in the back. Its a little weird and there are no directions from the highway how to peoceed to the lobby/checkin.

    The overall amenities were excellent. The hotel appeared nice and in good condition. The continental breakfast was acceptable. What made our experience horrible was the customer service. We checked in as normal, or so we thought. We left our luggage in the room and went for an amazing day at the fair. Upon arriving to our room at about 10 PM our cards had deactivated. I sent my husband downstairs with the cards in order to have them reactivated so that we could enter our room. However, when he approached the front desk, he was told our reservation could not be found. To us, this was an obvious error since we had checked in with our credit card and the charge showed on our account, had keys, and our luggage was in the room, however the associate was not able to allow back in the room. He explained that we would have to pay for an additional night in order to gain access to the room again. We went ahead and paid as we had our three toddlers in the hallway, and decided to wait until the morning time to solve the issue with the manager. However, even after presenting the confirmation of my reservation, showing our accounts with the deduction for the amount of two nights, the manager was unable to refund our money. He even said to me, I dont ever give refunds. I was aghast. Im not sure whats going on with this hotel. This incident happened last year and was never resolved. I would never stay with another Best Western due to the inability of management at this location to resolve this manner and the managers sheer rudeness. I called corporate but they advised each location is independently run and they do not manage their financials.

In your comments, you mentioned that you had previously spoken with a manager. That manager happened to be the General Manager of this hotel and he had advised you that there would be no refund. The decision in this matter will not be reversed. We do hope that this one negative detractor will not deter you from patronizing our other Best Western brands of hotels for future stays.
