A completely delightful experience -- a lovely, small, intimate inn (or B&B) 1500 feet up the slope of a long-dormant volcano where the breezes blow, lush vegetation grows, and the view down to the western coast of the island is stunning and stretches for many miles. Sunset views are beyond unbelievable -- from the inn, from its pool, or from its hottub. The friendly and accommodating staff is committed to excellent service. The chef-prepared breakfast every morning is delectable, and features local fruits, many of which are grown on the premises. This is a different, but wonderful, way to experience Hawaii -- removed from the often crowded coastal areas and their big resorts (which of course are easily accessible by car) -- relaxed, serenely peaceful, cooler. We have high hopes to return for our third visit.

Simply THE best! Everything was perfect, as usual. The staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfasts delicious. The inn as a whole is beautiful; the artwork, the gardens, the architecture, and the location. Perched high enough over the hustle and bustle of town, but close enough to be convenient to the beaches. Frankly, when I stay here, I never want to leave. Rooms: Perfect. Comfortable. Cozy. Clean. Nearby activities: The best coffee in the world is farmed right here. Farm tours and tastings are fun. There is world class snorkeling within 30 min. The little town of Holualoa is cute and has fun galleries. Walkability: A couple mins to the mini-market, art galleries and a restaurant in Holualoa. Good for a couple of hours of exploring. Otherwise, a car is needed to access the beaches, and the city.

Thank you so much for choosing Holualoa Inn for your Hawaiian vacation and taking the time to craft this beautiful review. We are thrilled you enjoyed our delicious breakfasts each morning, each of which does include our seasonal, farm-grown fresh fruit. Whether you enjoy indulging in a sweet entrée like our Lilikoi-stuffed French Toast and Hawaiian Pineapple Waffles or a savory plate like our Huevos Rancheros or fresh-vegetable Frittata, we have something for everyone and can accommodate all dietary restrictions and preferences. Wash it all down with a cup of our 100% Estate Kona coffee and you are set for the day! We hope to welcome you home to Holualoa Inn again in the future. A hui hou kakou, Kathryn and your Holualoa Inn Ohana

It is always such a pleasure to welcome you home again to Holualoa Inn, and for such special occasions! We were delighted for your return and your first chance to explore our relatively new Sculpture Garden while continuing to enjoy everything you've cherished about the Inn over the years. Mahalo for this beautiful review, for your stunning photographs, and for considering us your Big Island home away from home. A hui hou kakou and wishing you both a phenomenal year. Kathryn and your Holualoa Inn Ohana
