Hilton Grand Vacations Club Maui Bay Villas

This will be an awesome place to come in the future, but they dont quite have their act together yet. Im currently sitting by the pool side bar at 6:30pm and not a staff member in sight (bar closes at 7). Lots of weird things- no housekeeping throughout the stay (although you can text and ask for things). You need a special key to get into the Beach Club. Pool and water slide hours are very limited. We ended up spending most of our time elsewhere because what is opened/closed is unpredictable. We will come back, but maybe in a couple of years.

This property was beautiful, the room was perfect (great size with full kitchen) , and the pool was amazing. The beach is across the street which is very pretty, although not the best beach for swimming. The only opportunity was the service hours and options for onsite dining (there is only the beach club). Restaurants would be a far walk, however not far with car.

We stayed at the Maui Bay Villas at the end of March 2024, we booked a premier suite facing the ocean in building 6. the check-in process was excellent, and the front desk personnel were professional and very kind, smiling all the time and responsive to all requests and questions. The suite had a great view of the ocean, we had a full kitchen with all the needed amenities, there was also multiple outdoor grill stations that were located across the street facing the mountains which were connected to gas lines, we were able to use to grill outside. Ample parking, and close to the nice part of Kihei beach that we walked on every day. If you check out and your flight is late, they'll give u access to the pool all day and a complimentary access to showers prior to your flight. Highly recommendfor a family vacation, one of the best HGV resorts we have been to. Walkability: Very short walk to sandy kihei beach
