Update on 05.04.2024: The monthly pass just doesnt work for me again! I have to call customer service to lift for me 2 times a on my way out and another 2 times on my way in. Its just ridiculous.Their resident garage is just terrible. The system is super buggy, the resident gate and main gate just wont lift for you at any time. Your time will be wasted waiting at the gate and calling their remote customer service to lift the gate for you. Your planned event could be delayed because of this, I personally experienced a few times already. The only thing they will do for you is to reset your monthly pass, but it wont last long in my experience. So if you have a car and want to park in the resident garage, think twice.

There are pros, so I'll get those out of the way: - red and blue line in building - location is generally good, not lively but easy go get to west loop, river north, etc - having the mall is nice - gym can be good, when things work - some of the staff (package room, maintenance workers, some of the front desk workera) are really nice That said, there are a lot of cons. This is a very expensive and high end building, but so much stuff is broken or not well maintained. You can pay $500 to reserve a common space but the speakers there dont work. In fact the leasing office doesnt know how to operate any of the speakers. They dont even know how to turn off the random Pandora playlist they play 24/7 so you can bring your own speaker! The TVs also don't really work. They say it has to be rewired (surprising, it's only a couple years old) and it will cost $100k so they "can't afford it". The sauna and steam room are dirty, I don't think they get cleaned very often. EDIT: the hot tub is now open. But this is still relevant as to the character of the administration. You know the nice hot tub on the 38th floor? If you come do a tour they'll tell you it'll open in the next couple of weeks, like they've been telling everyone for years. It's been broken for 4 years and management refuses to give any timelines in writing, despite repeated requests. If you come tour, ask them how long it's been broken and when they plan on fixing it. Edit: they've fixed these, but it was slow. Others need maintenance (oiling) which has never been done. 2 out of 5 weight machines in the gym have been broken for weeks. Edit: theyve done some maintenance on the pool tables and shuffleboard table. The pool table is felted with cheap felt and is full of tears. The cues are beat up, either missing a tip or with a lopsided glued on one. The shuffleboard table is uneven and they never put dust out or dust it, so you can't even use it unless most of the time.

Ive lived at Marquee for 2 months now and so far really enjoy it. The move-in process was very smooth thanks to Kyla, who helped me coordinate getting my key and reserving the elevator for a Labor Day move. I like the gym and the amenities, and my apartment has a great view.
