Awful internet connectivity While I have full bars and a 2.4Ghz connection, the Raynor door opener barely receives wifi.

We hired Raynor to replace our garage door opener recently, and the technician did a great job and he did it quickly, in less than an hour. When I spoke with the customer service dept. about the charges, he explained that they charge like an appliance repair company: a 1/4-hour for the estimate and then a one-hour minimum, regardless of how long the job actually takes. This was surprising because I thought only plumbers and electricians made charges in this way.

This was a family run business circa 1991/92. We had a meeting to propose some software development to meet their needs. The one son had take a few programming classes in college, whereas I had 7 years solid work experience in the field, in addition to my IQ of 165 (writing code is like child's play for me BTW). He decide to grill me on my technical skills and started rambling about a methodology (top down) that I knew was soon to be obsolete being a forward thinker myself. The new paradigm that the vast majority of code is in today is object-oriented languages and methodology. He proceeded to tell my boss that I was 'wet behind the ears' meaning a lightweight in terms of technical skills. I since had a 37 year successful career in the industry and retired in December of last year. His loss in hindsight.

Best in doors but the quality control is not on point. Sometimes the door and hardware is perfect sometimes is not. Would like to see improvements in quality
