        What a waste of money this place is. Fridge didn't work, Ac didn't work. They lock the doors at night, so you have to stand outside in the cold and wait for someone to come after calling. Valet is expensive. Never trust priceline when they say it's a 4 star hotel.

Situated just a short walk from the Metra and CTA, the hotel's location is ideal for exploring the area. While some guests may find the staff to be somewhat off-putting, their commitment to service and follow-through make up for any initial reservations. Overall, the Hilton Orrington/Evanston offers a cost-effective and well-positioned stay for travelers in the region.

        We used this hotel for our wedding room block in December. Overall the experience was good, the prices were reasonable, and the rooms were large. We were able to rent both presidential suites for myself and my husband to get ready in with the wedding party at a fair price. The only issue we had leading up to the event was poor communication with the sales office. They did help to resolve our issues and offered to waive the "goody bag" fee for each guest (it's $5 each to hand a premade bag to guests containing snacks and water when they check in...). Overall I would recommend for your wedding if it's nearby, but I would be warned about the communication issues.
