        Great company, Chuck (instructor) was very informative. He took the time to explain everything to me in our preflight and the flight was amazing. Zack (instructor/manager) was very professional when taking my money, both made me feel very welcome. I am now working on my private pilots rating and enjoy seeing them every weekend.

        Nice very little FBO with 1 R22 and 1 R44. The hangar is heated but the access is restricted. The helicopters are very poorly maintained though. Ive never seen a Lycoming engine in such a state. On the R44 the heat is stuck open, whatever the position of the knob. So it might be useful to take an extra CO detector. Also they always fly with only one door hinge safety pin out of the two mandatory ones, sometimes even without any safety pin at all. They might tell you you can shoot autorotations, let you book the flight but at the last moment the CFI will be reluctant, not confident enough or pretend the temperature is too low. Lansing Municipal has 2 perpendicular runways, very little trafic, a lot a space for ground practice, slope landing, etc.
