Very attentive. But very expensive

Twice a relative has sent flowers via an online floral site and both times the order was fulfilled by Schnucks Floral. The first order was a floral arrangement that was left on our porch in the winter. No one rang the doorbell (we work from home) and by the time we knew it was there, the arrangement had died in the cold. I can't attest to the quality of the flowers since they were all dead when we found them. The most recent was a plant arrangement which was also left on our porch without anyone ringing the doorbell. Fortunately, we now have a video doorbell with motion detection so we were notified an I CAN attest to the quality. There were dead leaves in the arrangement and damaged leaves on every single plant within the arrangement. It was also infested with gnats. We took it outside, disassembled and treated the plants, and transplanted the ones we could salvage in new soil. All were over watered and several had root rot. In all, we were able to save about half of the arrangement. People send floral gifts for recipients to enjoy, not to create work or upset. When the plant arrangement arrived, we texted a photo to the sender and thanked them. Turns out, it wasn't close to the photo of the arrangement she had ordered and is contacting the online floral service company. Minimally, when you spend this kind of money on sending flowers or a plant (each arrangement was $100+ with delivery), you expect the recipient to get a quality product that matches what you actually ordered. Bottom line, stay away from Schnucks Floral if you are looking for quality, value, or accuracy. They fail on all three counts.

This is a very nice grocery store, with wide aisles and a great selection.

I purchased a Mother's Day bouquet of flowers the week before Mother's Day. By 5 pm on the day they were still not delivered, a distance of only a couple of miles from the actual shop and for a delivery fee of nearly $20. I called to check on the flowers and got a poor attitude and a total disregard of customer service. The person I spoke to, also who I ordered from initially, didn't even know what I had ordered. I got the feeling that my order fell through the cracks. The flowers were delivered shortly after my call but were substandard and some were not long enough to reach the water in the vase and wilted within a day. I do not recommend using this company for flower purchases for delivery.
