The BEST grocery store addition to our town! This store is small enough to get in & out quickly, yet it has every basic thing you need. One thing that I especially like is that they have so many non-food special items that I havent found anywhere else for the deals! Like gardening tools, kitchen small appliances, toys, holiday gifts, pet toys, & so much more! A decent wine selection and more name-brand items all the time. We bought a huge beautiful heavy-duty outdoor gazebo with a vented roof and zip-up bug netting! Neighbors thought it must have cost $400-$500! But Nope! I got it on an end-of-summer clearance for $79 bucks! Youll easily find lots of organic & gluten-free options, from produce & boxed items to poultry. What you may not know is that theyve held their quality standards higher than before many other groceries! Akdi originated in Germany over 100 years ago, & owned by two brothers. One opened Trader Joes and the other one opened an ALDI. Which makes me wonder. Hmm? If Im buying many of the same things sold at Trader Joes but just labeled differently & sold for less? Since after all, both stores are under the same umbrella. Everything Ive tried from the Aldi brand is very good & considerably more affordable than any other store. The one time I wasn't happy with the texture of my berries, they gave me back my money AND another quart of berries! Because of their Double-Back guarantee! You literally can't lose trying anything new from there! Your money goes so much further, its kept super clean and the employees are friendly and helpful. I did a comparison shopping between Kroger & Aldi. I bought ALL of my most common staple items like Free Range eggs, Milk (thats delivered from a Deans truck btw) bread, sugar, flour, condiments, coffee pods, & Juice, Grass organic beef, chips & snacks, cereal, and one sliced & shredded cheese, (at least 30 kinds of cheese to choose from) Tide, Downy, & Dawn & one of the best heavy duty paper towels, Etc.. Im not kidding when I tell you that I got 15 MORE items at Aldi than I did at Kroger and it was $35 less with coupons at Kroger. And because they utilize a clever rent a cart for a quarter system everyone returns their cart outside, & I dont have to worry about my vehicle getting scratched up by a runaway cart! Lol, the only thing that may be a downside for some people is that you bag your groceries & they dont take coupons. But I dont mind that considering I save so much money! The only suggestion or wish I have is if they could stay open later than 8:00 pm if not every day, at least a couple of days a week. So glad that Brownsburg, IN & the powers that be committee members finally saw the value this store brings to our town.
