        This court and judge is shady and he (this crt in question) has in the past been in trouble for allowing things like default judgements where the collection companies and attys did not legally go thru processing judgements correctly...he allows a lot of shady stuff to happen in that court and dbl dipping on judgements/garnishments and attorneys getting away with anything and violating all types of debtors rights and fcra and fdcpa laws or whatever...I notice another thing they do is send things to an old old ancient bad address and or send important docs to corrsct address with a number or zip code off just enough for the attorneys or the plaintiffs to get these default judgements...this franklin twnshp courthouse in indianapolis southside shld be shut down!!! 90 percent of the cases are from some bogus credit collection scams I think anyway....horrible place and the legality of the cases are questionable at best!!

      Franklin Township Small Claims Court

      The Franklin Township Division of the Marion County Small Claims Courts allows citizens to bring a lawsuit in an informal manner. The procedures are not complex and were created to provide speedy, inexpensive and an uncomplicated means of resolving disputes, claims and counter claims. In the Franklin Township Small Claims Court, typical cases involve, but are not limited to, auto accidents, property damage, landlord/tenant disputes and the collection of personal and business debts. Court staff is available to answer questions about court procedure, practice and policy. Court staff CANNOT provide legal advice. Corporations and LLC’s must appear with counsel on claims in excess of $6,000.00. Those under $6,000.00 require a resolution that can be provided by staff.
