Quaint Cozy rooms. Cold breakfast. The owner is a real piece of work. Rented a 2 bed room for 2 nights, my sister-in-law came to drop something off to us, as soon as we let her in the room, the owner called the room yelling and saying"No guest, they leave now, I throw you out, no refund", when I went to the front desk to apologize, he kept talking over me and wouldn't let me speak. Rooms: Ok better than some. Worse than most. Nearby activities: Downtown laporte Safety: Nonexistent Food & drinks: Has a fridge and microwave but is not allowed to take food to the room. Noteworthy details: The total lack of privacy and lack of respect from the owner and his wife, terrible people, the housekeeper felt she had to apologize for the owner.

TV didn't work, room dirty, hair dryer didn't work, the heat/cool system soooo loud couldn't even turn on! Refused by front desk to change rooms, I had asked and received a late check out at noon, do not disturb sign out, but had 3 separate knocks from 10:45 till I left at 11:20
