Hotel Pommier

Everything about this hotel was wonderful! We arrived very late after midnight and we were taken great care of by Bobbie upon our arrival. The rooms are huge and freshly renovated and very clean. The location is conveniently located close to everything you need such as Walmart and the downtown square. Its also a short drive from Des Moines. We stayed here on a whim and are so glad we did. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in town.

Wow. We simply needed an affordable place to stay nearby Des Moines to break up our drive home from vacation with our kids. We found Hotel Pommier online because of the reasonable price. But now: We love it and highly recommend it because of the great value and awesome experience we had! We experienced wonderfully helpful staff, fun/funny signs, new technology throughout the hotel, a delicious breakfast, a beautifully renovated and very clean room (thanks, Candee!!), and a quiet night of rest in a comfortable bed. Because of chain hotels, we forgot what it was like to really have a great lodging experience until Hotel Pommier! Thank you for the hospitality and the details youve put into this wonderful place - we cant wait to have a reason to return and stay again! Dont think twice - book a room here. The reviews dont lie, and neither do I! (At least not in this review!) ;)

We stayed at the hotel pommier for a large family event. I'm usually a marriott guy because I travel so much and have gold for life status. This time I wanted to stay near the family...and it was totally worth it! We brought our very young family of 4 and had plenty of room in our double queen. Everything was clean and updated. Couldn't believe how awesome the shower was; so much so that I asked management what it was and they pointed out they have QR codes for everything if you want to buy on Amazon. Very family oriented. The breakfast was awesome and FREE, not something marriott has ever done for me. They even had milk available that we could warm up in the microwave for the babies. It's also near every store in town so easy to grab whatever you may need, but they have everything. They had a huge sun deck the kids could run and play on and we could relax as well. Only thing that sucked was the taco bell next door was sub par, but can't blame the hotel for that! Cheers to the Pommier staff! Will stay again for our next trip to Iowa.

Really great staff. Extremely helpful and welcoming. Trisha and Kathy are sweet. To be honest everyone was sweet but I remembered both of their names. -Older but clean and well loved establishment -Adorable signs everywhere -Very accommodating -Very clean and quiet Very secure. My entire family was able to relax and get a good night's sleep. Coffee is decent and my son was ecstatic about the pancake machine and the magical water box Super cozy and unexpectedly wonderful hotel. I also love the town it's in. Rooms: Older but clean and well taken care of. Bathrooms are pretty small but for the price and comfort level I legitimately wasn't bothered by it. Safety: Rooms are extremely secure. Every room has a keypad with changing codes. Front door locks at a certain time and you can only enter with the code of the night. Really do like that a lot. I was a little annoyed with how loud the keypads are though(my husband kept repeatedly locking himself out and waking up our son ) Noteworthy details: Read all the signs. They're great
