The Heritage Inn & Suites, Ascend Hotel Collection

The room was clean, nice breakfast, beautiful and well decorated hotel, and beds were okay. I felt our room was way too hot. The walls were not sound proof, doors had a big gap on bottom to hotel door room. It was a nice family getaway.

We stayed overnight after traveling all day, just needing rest. We did not get any rest, as the beds were covered in hair and we found blood on the comforter and on the floor. For supposedly being Garden City's finest hotel, I would expect clean bedding for $144/night! We only stayed at this hotel for the convenience of Parrot Cove being attached. Should have stayed at a different hotel because we still could have gone to the waterpark.

Just book the comfort inn. The whole point was to get "access" to the water park for my kids. Well, it's open to the public and you pay full price even as a guest. Rooms are a little nicer, not for an $70 extra a night, though.
