        This place was personable and affordable. I shopped around to get the lowest price and I did at tharp. Besides the price, Jean the director gave all my issues her undivided attention. Being out of state, I thought planning a memorial would be difficult, but she made it seamless. She showed compassion and was very helpful in everything we needed to complete our loved ones wishes.

        We have used Tharp Funeral Home to make arrangements for both of my parents. Each time we were well pleased with the services provided. Jean Newman, Funeral Director, was extremely patient, personable, compassionate, understanding and thorough. Her demeanor was not obnoxious, forceful or offensive in any way. As a matter of fact, when I had questions leading up to the day of the services or even after, she always answered immediately, as it was never an imposition. I requested special prayer cards for both parents and she accommodated my wishes without hesitation! I would highly recommend Tharp Funeral Home...they truly care about the individual and the family members.
