    Look no further if you're looking for quiet, safe, and well-designed apartments. The Garage is unique for its parking arrangement, of course - or where else in Nola do you have a car elevator to your floor! - but the true luxury is the team that manages the building. Repairs happen almost immediately, common areas are always clean, and they even fix a leak on the roof during a hurricane (true story!). Can't say enough good things about our little oasis in the city.

    I have had an apartment in The Garage for almost a year now and really like it. The building is run by a great group of people Sean & Dena being at the top of that list. The neighborhood is great with easy access to the CBD and all the great restaurants within walking distance. Secure parking & keyless entry are added bonuses (the parking is the best offering of any building in city). Highly recommend.

    I searched exhaustively for a clean, secure apartment here in the city - never found anything that actually looked or (yuck) smelled clean as advertised until I came to tour The Garage. From the start, I was greeted so warmly by all the staff, starting with my initial phone and texts concerning my needs/wants for the ideal apt. Dena has a clear vision and listened intently, guiding me. Another staff member, Curtis greeted me warmly when I arrived and patiently showed me different apts on each floor and both that faced the streetcar line in front and the great views of the bridge and city in the rear facing side. The lobby was amazingly clean and the elevators immaculate. Each floor has only outward facing apts which is not only unique but affords every dweller a great view. On the top floor is located the outside barbecues, quality grills with equally appointed seating. Theres a waist deep pool where soaking at the end of the day has been great! There is an enclosed lounge with a service counter and seating for parties and get together along with the gym equipment including treadmill, recumbent bike (my fave), free weights and a multi-use piece of equipment dont know what its called but you can do many strength training exercises. I was greeted warmly by a couple of residents who were soaking up sun! Additionally, there is a steam room and separate sauna!! I have lived here 8 months now and couldnt imagine a more secure building from both storms and otherwise. Okay, you get I love it here, but by far the best feature for me is the security and ease of driving into the building. I have a key fob - push the button and it raises a large metal fence to gain entrance. Then I just pull up to the info screen, press the next button on the fob that recognizes my floor and instructs me which of the 2 vehicle elevators is available to me - yes, for my car! I drive into the lift and it delivers me right to my floor! Im on the fifth floor so Ive got time to get my things together too! The elevator doors open and I drive right to my own parking space, just a few steps from my door! The door to my apartment is opened either by an app on my phone or a numerical digit access code I can enter. This is not only safe and secure but a great convenience. My 2 bedroom apt faces the bridge and the river with wall to wall glass and sliding doors that open onto the balcony that also stretches the entire width of the apartment. The stove and dishwasher appliances are along one wall with a huge moveable island that sits 3-4 stools easily. The full size washer and dryer get a workout with all my towels and bedding. Everything is top notch here with lots a additional lighting and room sconces and the most closets Ive ever seen. Very sleek and nothing fussy. I have to mention the unending amount of hot water to take long showers and soaks in the tub! Btw, water is included in the rent ;) Sorry for the novel Ive written here - Ode to the Garage but it just wouldnt do this great building a service if nearly everything werent listed here. Great thanks to everyone who works here and maintains this awesome living experience for us to enjoy!

    Where to begin? I have lived in the building for just over two years. This is an excellent place to live. Extremely safe, very quiet, and the folks who work in/with the building are superb! Earlier this year, in the days following Hurricane Ida, staff from the building were ever present and ensured the building and those few who stayed behind were (1) safe and (2) had whatever supplies they needed (to the greatest extent possible). Who does that? The Garage does that. What price do you put on safety, especially in NOLA? Parking here is in what has to be the most secure garage in the city. A number of units have large balconies with great sunset views. I wouldn't change a thing.

Located in the downtown South Market area of New Orleans, LA, The Garage is a luxury apartment and condominium complex. In fully remodeled buildings that originated in the late 1800s, this complex now hosts living spaces with open kitchens, large living areas, and views of the cityscape. Our full bathrooms are fitted with contemporary fixtures and finishes, and our bedrooms offer views of the cityscape. We host residential car elevators that can lift residents to their personal parking spot in a matter of moments. The Garage also features a sun deck, wading pool, fitness center, and a meeting space available to reserve, all with views of the city.
