Moose Peak Vacation Rental

This place is so so cozy tucked between the lake and the mountains. It is incredibly quiet. Jane has done an incredible job with the details of the home. It was the perfect backdrop for a girls weekend. Craft night and North Conway shopping! Highly recommend! We are already making plans for our return trip!

Our stay was everything and more! There wasnt a single detail left out from beach chairs and kayaks to a high chair and crib. It felt like the comfort of home but add in a breathtaking view, beautiful decor, and a relaxing atmosphere to kick back and enjoy! Theres no doubt that we will be back to this little slice of paradise!

We were fortunate to spend a few days at Moose Peak and it was perfect! There are 3 uniquely designed bedrooms all well-appointed & on 3 separate floors for privacy. Dan & Janes home was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and so very comfortable. During our stay, the weather was perfect. We were able to enjoy the couches on the back deck for morning coffee, afternoon picnics and evening beverages. The kitchen was filled with pot and pans and a spice rack with lots of options and the dining room table was large enough to fit a small army. The living room has a gorgeous fireplace with an amazing original art piece depicting the mountains and lake. We enjoyed playing many of the games they supplied while winding down from our busy days of hiking, kayaking, sightseeing (Moose Peak is just a short 30-minute drive to North Conway & the scenic railroad) and going to the beach. Dan & Jane supplied life jackets for all sizes (seriously there must be a dozen sizes, from toddler to adult). Not to mention the abundance of towels for outdoor activities. We were 3 generations of family members, 4 adults and our toddler grandson and none of us wanted for anything! Jane and Dan thought of everything, they even had a crib & safety gates at each staircase. They set the bar very high & from now on every place we go will be compared to Moose Peak! Dan & Jane, thank you for allowing us to share your home. We cant wait to visit Moose peak again & eventually visit Hakuna MaTiki.

Over the past few years we've spent time at a variety of home getaways - and Moose Peak has been, by far, one of the best experiences. We have a young child, and this home provided us with enough things to keep our little one entertained for all types of weather. Located across the street from Shawnee Peak and on Moose Pond, you couldn't ask for a more ideal location. The home was incredibly kid friendly with a wide variety of games, books, and toys for all ages. The beach was easily accessible, and having beach towels, chairs, sand toys, kayaks, and life vests available for our use was extremely convenient. Badminton and tennis kept us entertained when we weren't on the lake or hiking the nearby trails. As for the house, it was well organized, comfortable, and well stocked. Being able to pack light and the many entertainment opportunities, made this a wonderful family vacation.
