Rockport Harbor Hotel

We stayed here as our first night in Maine after moving cross country and were blown away. This is by far the most wonderful place weve ever stayed (to put it in perspective, we stayed in the four seasons in Chicago during our move too). The bed was amazingly comfortable and the sheets are really soft. The view is GORGEOUS (we were in the harbor view suite). We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the living room area with the fireplace on. They also welcomed our dog which is always a plus for us. We had cocktails at the bar as well and they were fantastic. We cant wait to go back!

The Rockport Harbor Hotel is our new favorite! From the start, we were greeted warmly and had delicious cocktails by the fireplace adjacent to the Oak Room, so lovely and welcoming. Our room was luxurious from the soaking tub and fireplace to the amazing view of the harbor! The bed was oh so comfy! We had breakfast in the Oak Room and the service was attentive and friendly. The cocktails and veggie garden skillets were yummy! Well be back very soon!

We requested reservations at the last minute. Nonetheless, we received excellent accommodations. A great suite with magnificent view of Rockport Harbor. The parking was very convenient to the rear entrance and elevator. The manager, Hugh, ensured our needs were met beyond our expectations. The staff we encountered seemed comfortable and competent in their positions, as well as cheerful and engaging. Although a new building, it posses the qualities and character of establishments before the popular, easy-up prefab hotels. They too have an important place for travelers; Rockland Harbor Hotel is a unique experience.

This is a lovely place. I spent two nights there when we had a major ice storm and had no power. The rooms are large and very well appointed. My room had a bedroom and separate living room overlooking the harbor with a large deck.They shared a fireplace. Bathroom featured a huge shower, separate tub and 2-bay sink. Everything work perfectly. The lobby, while not large, is beautifully furnished with a gas fireplace. The adjacent Oak Room features a 100 yr. Old bar from England. Breakfast and dinner menus were excellent as were drinks. Most importantly, all of the staff were so helpful and friendly. They seemed like friends though I was there only 2 days. Highly recommend. Nearby activities: This is part of Maines iconic and historic coast. Lots of scenic areas, museums, hiking trails and coastal excursions.

Just returned from a stay at the Rockport Harbor Hotel. Thoughtfully designed and comfortable rooms and public spaces. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive. All the meals were unique and very tasty.
