I wish the employees would have had one ounce of courtesy and let the guests know the hotel is under construction. Smashing on the wall and hammering obnoxiously at 8:15am. Good luck sleeping in or getting any peace and quiet to get work done. I never would have booked a room if I was told about the construction. Shame on employees and management for not being open and honest.

Our family of 6 stayed here on Spring break so we could tour DC. Evelyn one of the managers checked us in and was very friendly. The first morning one of my daughters passed out and the staff went above and beyond to help us. She is fine and their kindness was very appreciated. The rooms are small, breakfast is good and the cost is great for a family that wants to tour DC and spend the whole budget on lodging.

Comfortable rooms. Clean and relatively quiet (not the hotel's fault if noisy neighbors walk down the hallway). Week staff if more professional and courteous than weekend. Free breakfast feels cheap. Nice experience overall. Rooms: Spacious and clean Safety: Felt safe the entire time Walkability: Found it easy to get out and walk

I have to give 5 stars just for the warm and real heated swimming pool. Im IHG members for ~15 years and stay at so many Holiday Inns. Only couple places have a real warm swimming pool + whirlpool. Other Holiday Inns claim heated swimming pool but water is so cold. Cant stay more than 15 mins or get ready to be sick. This one is bestttt. My family was able to enjoy the pools. Thumbs up and thank you

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel wasnt the most pleasant. My original room was only surface cleaned. The shower, bathroom countertop, and one of the beds had hair in them. I was utterly disgusted by this. I addressed the young black lady at the front desk with my concerns and she was very kind and did the best she could to assist me. I was offered items from the store and a new room because Id booked through Priceline and was told she couldnt offer any discount because it was booked through a 3rd party. I wasnt excited about this but knew Id reach out to Priceline to help. Transferring was heckling being that we had tons of stuff with us, a lot of our things were unpacked, and I was tired from driving several hours. Needless to say I transferred rooms only to encounter more issues. The second room had a broken closet door that kept coming off the hinges and the bathroom ceiling was riddled with MOLD. Not to mention the pool is very questionable, the hallways wreak of funk, and the place is outdated. I knew transferring a 3rd time was out of the question for me. I called Priceline with my concerns and they reached out to the hotel several times to get the Manager to issue a waiver to provide me with a discount for all of my troubles but Priceline stated the Manager told Lauren they would not be refunding me any of my funds. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn Express again!
