A few pointers: Instead of making customers wait by the door at 9:07 while half of your team is on the morning run for lattes, open at 9:00 and get the coffees once the opening rush succeeds. Instead of speaking in a patronizing kindergarden voice, have some urgency in serving customers and improve your competence. Instead of having your subordinates run to the manager for approval for everything that other banks do automatically, figure out your operations. This is not - busy branch, this is a slow and incompetent brunch.

We are closing our accounts and going elsewhere. They have a long way to go to keep up with the rapidly changing demands of this community. The reps keep running to their superiors for every little things that in other banks causes no delay. There is always something. And then there are bigger problems like not being able to access your money, and them asking you for a few minutes to fix things which turns into 30 min with the things not fixed. Things = 7 months old problems on their side that they told you were fixed.

I had an absolutely terrible experience with Santander bank. The customer service was shockingly bad, and the staff were incredibly unprofessional. Every time I visited the bank, there was an inexplicably long wait, even when it seemed like they had extra staff on hand. It's frustrating to see such a lack of efficiency and professionalism in a banking institution. I would strongly advise against banking with Santander if you value your time and expect decent customer service.
