On this cold night, I checked in at the hotel front desk with my child. I was very happy to meet Rachel&Sandra at the hotel front desk. They were all very friendly and comforting, and I really need to thank them. Sandra was kind, enthusiastic, and advanced in people-oriented communication and arrangements. She was great, and I fully felt the high level of Marriott Hotel reflected by her. The front desk also sent snacks to my children and we were really happy and appreciative of their thoughtfulness. Thank you for her arrangements!

We really enjoyed this hotel on the Cleveland circle. It was easy to visit our son at Boston College. We walked everywhere. There's a fabulous breakfast and lunch restaurant right at the entrance to the hotel parking. There are many sites to be seen from this location. We visited the waterworks museum. We went to the city works restaurant a block away. We took the t-line train service into downtown Boston. It is so easy to get around from this location. The room was very clean crisp and European looking. I do not really care for the fact that they encourage dogs to stay here. It looked like there was a poop stain on our carpet from a dog. The breakfast is not included. When we went to go check it out one of the employees followed us around as if we were going to steal food. The hotel lobby only has coffee in the morning. They were gracious enough to allow us to borrow umbrellas during the rainstorm. They were huge umbrellas and very helpful. Parking is easy and they will valet your car. The rooms were quiet and we did not hear other people. Although at 1:00 a.m. one night I heard someone stomping around above us. It is right on the electric train line so you will hear trains coming and going all day and night. But it's pretty quiet and with ear plugs you don't really hear much. It is so centrally located it is worth paying the extra money to not have to use your car and walk everywhere. We accidentally left items in the safe and they quickly called us to let us know. Rooms: European looking Nearby activities: Centrally located, easy to walk to many attractions, Close to train line Safety: Felt safe Walkability: Very Food & drinks: Not included

This was my second stay at AC Hotel Boston. I booked it primarily for its proximity to St Elizabeths Medical Center as my son was having a procedure done. I dont recall my first stay having a mandatory valet parking fee, but this most recent stay did. It stinks to pay $45 when you have no other options for parking, but I will say the staff is amazing. They were very kind and helpful and made sure my car would be up close for our early morning departure to surgery. The rooms are clean and updated but there is zero sound buffer. There was a large athletic team visiting during our stay and we could hear everything. From heavy footfalls overhead to the sounds of chairs scraping across the floor in the next room. Toilet flushes and conversation. The city noise outside is nothing compared to the room noise. The bed was clean but blankets were thin. Ill take clean over warm any day though. Our stay was out of necessity and while it couldve been better it certainly couldve been worse too. Rooms: We booked a king size bed with a sofa bed. We didnt use the sofa bed but it was comfortable to sit on the sofa. The king size bed wasnt the most comfortable bed Ive experienced with marriot but it was clean. The blankets were thin but also very clean so again, Id choose chilly and clean than warm and dirty any day. Food & drinks: There arent much kid friendly options in the AC lounge menu or neighboring options though so heads up there. We arrived too late in the day to find a better option and ended up ordering a bacon jam cheeseburger with truffle tots to take to the room. It was the most kid friendly option. It was good though. Noteworthy details: Its loud. Theres no sound buffer between walls or from the ceiling above. Every footfall is rumbling overhead. I was surprised by how loud it was inside
