        Absolutory the best eye Dr. I have ever been treated by. Dr. Huckfeldt and her whole team are amazing. Dr. Huckfeldt took her time to explain everything to me and for the first time, I fully understand my eye disease and she also shared future opportunities of treatments and trials that I may be eligible for. I am so happy & lucky my previous Dr. relocated and I was able to find and connect with Dr. Huckfeldt. Although the wait to see her may be long, trust me, it is 100% worth the wait.

        I travelled to Boston from Colorado on recommendation from a colleague. MEAE is known to have the best doctors for eye diseases. Dr. Huckfeldt did not disappoint in depth of knowledge about my disease but what really struck me was her ability to communicate hope for an eventual treatment for me. Thanks to Dr Huckfeldt and the MEAE team for the amazing care and support, and for hearing me when I shared about my vision loss.

        I had an all day appointment with Dr. Huckfeldt's office to do testing to confirm an eye disease confirmation. It was a nerve wracking day but everyone from the receptionist to Dr. Huckfeldt were kind, patient and took their time answering questions and explaining my prognosis. I felt very safe and taken care of and very appreciative of the entire team.

        Dr Huckfeldt and the IRD team at MEE is a thoughtful, professional, and caring group of people. Even though my IRD is not curable Dr Huckfeldt always takes the time to explain the condition and bring me up to date on current research. You can't ask for better than that!
